Weighted quilts apply deep pressure to the body, and stimulate the proprioceptive sense which has a calming effect , encouraging relaxation and body focus, which reduces anxiety and enables sleep as the proprioceptive sense tells our body of it’s movement and position, through receptors on the skin, muscles, ligaments & joints. 

Weighted therapy is becoming increasingly used with individuals of all ages with Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Retts Syndrome and Sensory Pro-cessing Disorder.

My weighted quilts are priced at a non-profit rate to try to make them available for those who could benefit from them. If, after one month, you have seen no benefit, simply return the undamaged quilt and I will refund half the purchase cost.
