English Paper Piecing

Patchwork for those who don’t want to use a sewing machine !  English Paper piecing is a traditional hand-sewing technique that involves basting fabric around paper templates to create precise patchwork shapes that are sewn together to make larger designs.  Perfect portable patchwork.

Tea, coffee and cake will be supplied, but do bring your own lunch

Quilting Sewlutions Sashiko

A traditional Japanese functional embroidery technique using a simple running stitch to create intricate, geometric patterns.  

No experience of Patchwork necessary.

An Indian embroidery and quilting style, that uses running stitches to join layers of fabric – a ‘make do and mend’ method traditionally used to join two or more worn saris to make a new one.

No experience of Patchwork required.

If you would like some help with a project, or want the space to finish something you have already started, why not come and join me on a sew and catch-up session? I will be available to help and guide you to finish your project.

The Sew and Catch-up sessions cost £35.00 a day.  and include coffee or tea, and cake during the session.

Please bring your own lunch.
